I am Awais, and I make shirts for people who read the footnotes.

AtomikTees started because I was the only one in a room of 10 people who laughed at a Noble Gas joke. It's still just me.

Here's what I actually believe: smart people deserve to laugh at the world. Not at science,  with it. The joke is never on the curious person wearing the shirt. It's on the overconfidence, the pseudoscience, the guy who read one headline and now has opinions. 

Which means I obsess over getting it right. A pun only lands if the science underneath it is real, so I'd rather kill a design than ship one that fudges the facts to force a laugh. If a shirt makes you groan and checks out under scrutiny, we did our job.

Every shirt is printed on demand, made when you order it, not stockpiled in a warehouse. Less waste, and it lets us make weirder, more specific designs than we could ever justify pre-printing a thousand of.
